Looks from The Week!

Hi Everyone,

I’ve got a few posts in the works— been a busy, busy week— but in the meantime, enjoy some shady looks from the week!

The weekend is here and I think we all deserve a little R&R (with Vodka). So take a look, sound off, and enjoy!

Scarlett Johansson, Balmain- “Ghost In The Shell” NYC Premiere

And to think, I thought Scarlett Johansson’s Emerald Versace stunner was my all time favorite look of hers. This colorful lurex Balmain stunner not only is super sexy but paired with that killer buzzed choppy mane and all that body-oddy-oddy? I’m left a little speechless.

You know every damn Drag Queen in is going to try and get their hands on a knockoff of this for Pride and boy do I hope they are successful. Stunning and Prideful, my favorite combination.

Scarlett Johansson, Alaia- Late Night with Seth Meyers

The “Ghost in The Shell” beauty turned to Alaia, yet again, this time in a proper metallic polka dot White sleeveless dress she paired with a Planned Parenthood pin (solidarity, sister). The least interesting of her looks this week and I’m still digging it. I even like those White platform Louboutin peep-toes! Trust me, no one is more shocked than I.

Scarlett Johansson, Haney- The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Ms.Johansson faced the PJ trend head on in a satin-y jumpsuit from Haney. This may not be everyone’s cup of tea but she’s serving up sexy cool girl as far as I’m concerned. Whatever she’s having, I want. She’s been looking absolutely outstanding lately.

Matching Stuart Weitzman stacked satin platforms and a Rockabilly bouffant complimented the Fashion forward look.

Rooney Mara, Louis Vuitton- “The Discovery” Premiere

Rooney Mara looks absolutely lifeless in in her patent and lace LV frock and that’s all I have to say.

Anne Hathaway, Vintage Armani Prive- “Colossal” NYC Premiere

While I applaud Anne Hathaway for chasing this ridiculously gorgeous satirical Armani confection with horsehair ruffles, she may have wanted to ask Mr.Armani to move that shoulder piece just a tad to the left so not to cover her face. Avant-garde within a magazine is one thing, this just look ridiculous.

Anne Hathaway, Vintage Oscar de la Renta- “Colossal” Afterparty

Annie switched gears from Gothic Glam to 70’s Beach in a vintage Oscar de la Renta red-berry hobble skirted dress with metallic flower print and red box clutch. She should have kept her hair up or at least up in a messy ponytail; compared to the Armani this is forgettable.

Heidi Klum, Jitrois- “America’s Got Talent Season 12 Kickoff”

Heidi Klum is givings 70’s Ghetto Working Woman in the Summer of ’77 eleganza.

Tyra Banks- “America’s Got Talent Season 12 Kickoff”

So apparently you have to have bad taste to be a part of “America’s Got Talent.”

Mel B- “America’s Got Talent Season 12 Kickoff”

Mel B borrowed her glitter jumpsuit from the back of a Drag Queen’s closet and picked up that ponytail at Ricky’s. Really, she did. She told me.

Elizabeth Olsen, The Row- Arriving to “The Avengers: Infinity War” Set

Anyone looking for some Street Style inspo?

Elizabeth Olsen reported for duty as Wanda the Witch in the upcoming “The Avengers: Infinity Wars” arriving impossibly chic in a The Row camel coat and cream bag with Black separates and a freshly layered do. She arrives in Scotland via LA looking this good? Damn.

Rosie Huntington-Whitely- Airport

Proving pregnancy doesn’t effect her killer personal style, Rosie Huntington- Whiteley is a picture perfect example of a comfortable yet stylish way to travel. And that Saint Laurent tote? Keep it up honey.

Kate Hudson, Marina Moscone- Fabletics Press in NYC

Going for a dressier alternative, Kate Hudson made the rounds in NYC in a gorgeous olive duster with satin and tweed Grey separates that are a winning combo. The slit of the pants and the Disco cha-cha heels are selling this the most for me as are the extentionless locks.

ChastainandCo.jpg

Jessica Chastain, Prada- “The Zookeepers Wife” Los Angeles Premiere

I’d like to say I am into this Jessica Chastain and Prada mashup but I’m not.

Jessica Chastain, Givenchy- CinemaCon 2017

Ms.Chastain went from Librarians night out to a prideful polkadot Givenchy with flippy wrap hem and bold Louboutin’s. If I had to change only a thing I wish those Loub’s were open toe, same shade. Otherwise it’s a 9/10.

Charlize Theron, Gucci- CinemaCon 2017

It would appear that Charlize Theron got all the fillers in all the land before CinemaCon…anyone else find her utterly unrecognizable?

Cara Delevingne, Mugler- CinemaCon 2017

I may already be over Cara Delevingne’s trying too hard “look at my platinum hair so you notice me!” already, but her Mugler ensemble is phenomenal.

Emma Roberts, Markarian- Late Show With Stephen Colbert

Emma Roberts thankfully ditched that bottle job she was rockin’ at the Oscars for a (mousy) chestnut hue. I don’t really have an opinion either way on her dress as it’s kind of a snooze. I do however dig those Vetement for Manolo mules she is sporting.

Justin Bieber- On the Beach

It’s weird to see Justin Beiber wearing anything at the beach and quite frankly a little disappointing.

Kiki.jpg

Katie Holmes, Zac Posen- The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon

Katie Holmes: wearer of a table cloth, tacky shoes, and the perfect ponytail.

Juliette Binoche, DAN Couture- “Ghost In The Shell” NYC Premiere

I’ve never looked at Juliette Binoche and thought, “DAMN Girl,” but now I do. Total knockout. She looks 20 years younger than she is. I want more Binoche in my life.

Kirsten Dunst, Gucci- CinemaCon 2017

I’m all for an effortless Couture ensemble but Kirsten Dusts looks like she got her makeup done at the free makeover counter at Sephora and those messy waves are courtesy of a night out.

JulianneAndCo.jpg

Catherine Zeta-Jones- “Feud: Bette and Joan” NYC Press

Catherine Zeta-Jones’ Black and White wide legged jumpsuit feels like an afterthought. Sweetheart top strapless sewn into a proper oxford? It’s confusing on so many levels and anything but flattering. Also, all that Botox…

Mandy Moore & Minka Kelly, Alice + Olivia- fashionABLE Feminist Function

Minka Kelly looks like she borrowed her ensemble from the Misty Day rejects pile and Mandy a Pink Ladies wannabe. I do however love Mandy’s striped mules.

Julianne Moore, Louis Vuitton- CinemaCon 2017

Loving Julianne Moore’s masculine head-to-toe LV look but can’t help but wish she’d ditched those zipper front pants for slimmer simple Black jeans. The overall silhouette would have benefitted. The good news is Ms.Moore has a few films in the pipeline so we should be getting plenty of Fashion moments from the Oscar winner.

Naomie.jpg

Naomi Watts, Valentino- CinemaCon 2017

Another pair of White shoes I don’t hate! Ms.Watts looked all kinds of cool in her 20’s-esque drop waist sheer flowy number from Valentino with pussy bow at and embellished stripes. A cool uneven choppy bob and glowy skin rounded out a fantastically modern nautical look.

Rosamund Pike, Erdem- National Portrait Gallery Gala

Oh man, remember when Rosamund Pike would stun in showstoppers like this or that or this? What the hell is happening here? Doily alert…
