HALSTON AND YSL
Halston: Simple, chic, minimal, Americana classic.
YSL: Luxe, bold, yummy, glam Parisian chic.
Halston and YSL are two personal favorites of mine so I couldn’t help but check out the FIT exhibit on Friday.
If you’re not too well versed in either designer I highly recommend going as it’s a great intro to both. If you’re familiar, it’ll be a refresher as it’s a rather small installation; on a personal note I have already seen about 90% of what was shown between research and other museum visits.
FIT did a great job juxtaposing timeless Halston with luxurious YSL. Both absolute greats and Fashion heavyweights, it’s a good pairing as they share a certain effortless ease in design.
